HISTORY

• The department of history was started in 1966, it had the Privilage of enjoying the remarkable servives of the founder principal and HOD of History Prof. Ahmad Basha Sahib who spared no pains in shaping the colourful destiny of the department.
• It had successfully the golden lader of glory with affiliation granted for M.A .in 1978, part time M.Phil. course in 1985 and full time M.Phil. in 1987, part time Ph.D. in 2002 and full time Ph.D in 2012 . It is presently headed by Dr. H. MunavarJan.
• It has adequate infrastructure and faculty.The department of history celebrated the Golden Jubilee in the academic year 2016 -17
