REPORT ON THE REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS - 2024
The 75th Republic Day was celebrated at C. Abdul Hakeem College, Melvisharam, with a ceremonial parade. The Secretary & Correspondent, Alijanab Alhaj S. Z. Abrar Ahmed Sahib, unfurled the National flag, inspected the guard contingent, and took the salute. A guard of honour was presented by the NCC cadets under the command of SUO (BT), M. Kaviyarasu of III B.Com. The ceremony was conducted by the NCC officer, Lt. Dr. K. Jahir Hussain.
The Principal, Dr. S. A. Sajid, read the National Integration Pledge. Dr. S. Shamsuddin, HOD of the PG and Research Department of Commerce, delivered the Republic Day address, and the NSS officer proposed the vote of thanks. About 150 teaching and non-teaching staff, along with 220 students, participated in the program. The cadets who performed well were awarded Certificates.
