C. Abdul Hakeem College (Autonomous), Melvisharam, in collaboration with 10 (TN) BN NCC, Vellore, organizes an awareness programme and rally under the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan initiative. The programme is inaugurated by Dr. S. Zaheer Ahmed, Principal, who emphasizes the importance of student participation and community outreach in the prevention and elimination of Tuberculosis. The programme is coordinated by Associate NCC Officer Capt. Dr. K. Jahir Hussain with the participation and support of the Army Instructional Staff of 10 (TN) BN NCC, Vellore. A total of 102 NCC cadets and college students participate in the TB awareness pledge, focusing on early detection, reducing social stigma, and supporting healthcare initiatives. An awareness rally is also conducted in the campus locality, with participants carrying informative placards highlighting TB prevention, symptoms, and available government treatment facilities.
