The community-oriented awareness programme on “Password Shielding and Plastic Reduction for a Safer Community” focuses on promoting digital security and environmental responsibility at Chettithangal Village under the SIRD & PR–RRGSA 2026–2027 programme, supporting the objectives of Child-Friendly Panchayat and Women-Friendly Panchayat. The session provides practical awareness on creating strong passwords, secure account practices, identifying suspicious digital links and protecting confidential information, along with guidance on avoiding plastic, using reusable alternatives, source-level waste segregation and responsible disposal. More than 100 villagers participate in the awareness session led by S. Amudhamani Tamilvanan, President, Neighbour Welfare Association, State Resource Person and Certified Trainer – POSH Act, Ranipet District. The programme is coordinated by R. Sugumar under the guidance of the Principal, C. Abdul Hakeem College (Autonomous), with the direction and encouragement of T. Balasubramaniam, District Panchayat Secretary / District Training Officer (DPS/DTO), and A. Manojkumar, DRCP, SIRD-RRGSA 2026–2027.
