The Umarupulavar Tamil Mandram successfully organized a State Level Speech Competition on 7th October 2025 at 10:30 AM in the Seminar Hall. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 20 colleges across Tamil Nadu, aiming to foster a love for the Tamil language and promote public speaking skills among students.
The competition was judged by two eminent Tamil scholars:
Dr. R. Sivakumar, Associate Professor of Tamil, Muthurangam Government Arts College, Vellore
Dr. A. Chandran, Assistant Professor of Tamil, Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur
The event was held in the esteemed presence of the Principal, Head of the Department, faculty members, and students. It was efficiently organized under the leadership of the Vice President of the Umarupulavar Tamil Mandram.
Several students delivered inspiring and thought-provoking speeches, highlighting the cultural depth and linguistic beauty of Tamil.
