COMPUTER APPLICATIONS

The Computer Science Course was established in the year 1993 and B.C.A. degree was added in the department during 2000.

In our department, B.C.A. is having four sections. Total staff strength is 10 members for major subject and 2 staff members for handling allied subjects.

4 staff members are SET qualified and 2 staff administrators are working in the computer laboratory.

Our department lab is well equipped with 103 client systems and 2 server systems.

The Server machine is installed with OS 2003 software and Client machine is installed with XP Service Pack 02. UPS is well supported on every time. We have 4 UPS attached (i.e) 10 KV-02,15 KV-01,5 KV-01. 100 numbers of battery are supporting to all the UPS Machines. We have 9 AC machines and 2 laser printers are also available for the lab.

The library is having more than 750 books for department subjects. Our department students are using the library books for all the time. Faculty members are deputed to attend Refresher Courses to update themselves for accomplishing their teaching responsibilities on par with the curriculum. The department has its representation in National Seminars and Conferences as and when such an occasion arises.

PSO1 - An ability to understand the Principles and working of Computer Systems.
PSO2 - Project Development Skills: An ability to understand the structure and development Methodologies of Software Systems.
PSO3 - Comprehend, explore and build up Computer Programs in the allied areas like Algorithms, System Software, Multimedia, Web Design and Data Analytics for efficient design of Computer-based Systems of varying complexity.
PSO4 - The Program Prepares the young professional for understand the concept of virtualization and different products for doing the same.
PSO5 - The program Prepares the young Professional for understand how the different IT Services can be Provided with the help of Windows Azure, AWS, Google Cloud.
PSO6 - The Program Prepares the young Professional for a range of Computer Applications, Computer Organization, techniques of Computer Networking, Software Engineering – Commerce, Web Designing, Big Data, Io T, Python and Advance JAVA.
PSO7 - The Program Prepares the young Professional for Fundamentals of Cloud computing.
PSO8 - In order to enhance Programming skills of the young IT Professionals, the program has introduced the concept of project development in each language / technology learnt during Semester
PSO9 - To develop skills on Cloud Computing technical Planning
PSO10 - Learn Programming language such as Java, C++, HTML, SQL, etc....
PSO11 - Information about various computer applications and latest development in IT and communication system is also provided.
PSO12 - BCA gives a number of opportunities to individuals to go ahead and shine in their lives.
