Academic activities of the department are monitored by a staff member who is a Ph.D and specialized in Plant Biotechnology. Research papers have been published in Scientific Journals of good repute.
The department library comprising of more than 500 books are most efficiently catering to the curricular needs of the students who have opted Botany as an Allied Subject.
The department is registering maximum pass percentage every year.
