International Yoga Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 21 June 2026 at the historic Vellore Fort. The programme was organized by 10 TN Battalion NCC, Vellore, in association with the Archaeological Survey of India, Chennai Circle. A total of 22 NCC cadets from C. Abdul Hakeem College, Melvisharam, actively participated in the event. Under expert guidance, the cadets performed various yoga asanas and breathing exercises, promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and holistic health. The dignitaries present appreciated the discipline and active participation of the NCC cadets. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem.
