REPORT ON THE REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS 26.01.2026
The 77th Republic Day was celebrated in C. Abdul Hakeem College, Melvisharam, with a ceremonial parade. The Secretary & correspondent Alijanab Alhaj S. Z. Abrar Ahmed Sahib, unfurled the National flag and inspected the guard contingent and took the salute. The guard of honour was presented by the NCC cadets under the command of CUO. M. Sathish Kumar of III B.Sc., chemistry. The ceremony was conducted by the NCC officer, Capt. Dr. K. Jahir Hussain.
The Principal, Dr. S. Zaheer Ahmed, read the National Integration Pledge. Dr. Shaik Mohammad Raffi, HOD, Department of Mathematics delivered the Republic day address and NSS officer read out the vote of thanks. About 150 teaching, non-teaching staff & 220 students participated in the programme. The cadets who performed well are awarded with Certificates.
